Are you a caring, motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Sefton and the surrounding areas, and we are looking for passionate Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with a variety of learning needs, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Whether you are an experienced LSA or looking to build on your classroom or childcare experience, we want to hear from individuals who are committed to helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils and helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

✅ Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning activities
✅ Providing tailored SEN support to help pupils reach their full potential
✅ Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
✅ Supporting pupils with social, emotional and communication development
✅ Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and organisation
✅ Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
✅ Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
✅ Supporting personal care needs where required

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

✔ Have previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN
✔ Are patient, adaptable and proactive
✔ Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff
✔ Are passionate about supporting children's development and well-being
✔ Have a positive and flexible approach to learning support
