Think FE are recruiting for a Lecturer in Agriculture to join a well-established specialist land-based college in Warwickshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong agricultural knowledge to pass their industry experience on to the next generation. You'll be joining a college with extensive practical learning facilities, including a large countryside estate and a working commercial livestock and arable farm, giving students the opportunity to develop their skills in a genuine agricultural environment.

The role
You'll teach and prepare a mixture of theory and practical sessions across the college's agriculture provision. Teaching will cover areas including crop production, livestock husbandry, farm operations and safe working practices, supporting learners across Level 1 Land-Based Studies, Level 2 Agriculture, Level 3 Agriculture and Level 2 General Farm Worker Apprenticeships.
You'll be responsible for creating engaging lessons that connect agricultural theory with practical, industry-relevant skills while helping learners develop the knowledge and confidence they need for their future careers.
What we're looking for
You'll need a degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Agriculture, alongside GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
You'll also need relevant experience of working within the UK agricultural sector.
Previous teaching experience at the appropriate level would be advantageous, as would experience of combinable crop production and/or livestock production systems, but these are desirable rather than essential requirements.
