Hours offered as required during term time, with flexibility to support curriculum delivery

What You’ll Do

  • Teach and assess learners across ESOL programmes at a range of levels
  • Deliver engaging, learner-centred English language lessons covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing
  • Support learners in developing functional English for employment, education, and daily life
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds
  • Prepare learners for progression into further study, employment, or vocational pathways
  • Maintain high standards of teaching, assessment, safeguarding, and professional practice
  • Inspire confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant ESOL, English, Linguistics, or Teaching qualifications (Level 3 or above)
  • Experience teaching ESOL or supporting learners with English as an additional language
  • A strong understanding of inclusive, supportive, and culturally sensitive teaching approaches
  • Teaching or assessing qualifications are welcomed but not essential
