Hours: Full Time, 36 hours per week
Contract: 3 month role
About the Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Health to join their growing curriculum team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional, assessor, or tutor looking to move into teaching and inspire the next generation of health and social care practitioners.
You will deliver engaging and effective teaching across Health & Social Care programmes from Levels 1 to 5, supporting learners to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful careers within the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Health & Social Care programmes
- Prepare learning materials and develop innovative teaching resources
- Monitor, track and support learner progress
- Set SMART targets to help learners achieve their full potential
- Conduct assessment, marking and feedback activities
- Use practical, theoretical and digital teaching methods
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental objectives
About You
- Vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in a relevant subject
- Teaching qualification and assessor award
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Industry experience within Health & Social Care
- Nursing and/or Mental Health experience would be advantageous
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting and inspiring learners
