The Role
As a Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching to learners aged 16+ and adult students.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons that inspire and challenge learners.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive, supportive and positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to achieve excellent learner outcomes.
- Maintain accurate learner records in line with awarding body and college requirements.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience teaching within Further Education, Higher Education or industry training
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one.
- Relevant industry qualifications and occupational experience within your specialist area.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for developing learners' skills, confidence and employability.
