Power & Infrastructure Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Legal Counsel (Commercial) on behalf of our client.

This is an excellent opportunity for a UK-qualified solicitor looking for a full-time position with flexible working arrangements. The role is primarily remote, with occasional attendance at the Doncaster office and other UK locations when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Provide legal support to the General Counsel and wider business.
  • Maintain and manage the contract repository.
  • Assist with legal compliance, audits and governance activities.
  • Liaise with external solicitors, insurers and professional advisers.
  • Support acquisitions, integrations and other business projects.
  • Maintain registers for legal claims, disputes and litigation matters.
  • Assist with data protection and compliance activities.

Essential Requirements

  • UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
  • Strong background in Commercial Law and Contracts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous in-house legal experience.
  • Construction, Engineering, Energy or Rail sector experience.
  • Experience working with NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.
  • Knowledge of data protection and compliance requirements.
