Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

The Opportunity

We are delighted to be working with a prestigious international law firm to recruit an experienced Legal PA to join its busy and collaborative legal support team in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, highly organised and commercially minded Legal PA to provide high-quality support to senior stakeholders within a fast-paced legal environment. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, managing competing priorities and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the team.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, capable of building strong working relationships and anticipating the needs of those they support. You will be encouraged to take ownership, identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the continued success of the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive PA support, including complex diary management, inbox management, travel arrangements and coordination of meetings.

  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries and drafting professional correspondence.

  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, coordinate logistics and ensure all necessary documentation is available.

  • Manage workflow and stakeholder requests from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.

  • Assist with urgent document preparation, pitches and presentations, working closely with document production colleagues.

  • Coordinate client and matter opening processes, electronic filing and records management.

  • Provide financial administration support, including liaising with billing and finance teams.

  • Support marketing and business development activities, including event coordination and preparation of materials.

  • Maintain accurate records and process expenses using relevant systems and software.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider support function, providing cover when required and identifying opportunities to improve working practices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Legal PA or comparable professional support role, ideally within a law firm or similar professional services environment.

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.

  • Experience managing diaries, meetings, correspondence and confidential information.

  • A proactive mindset, with the confidence to anticipate requirements, solve problems and take ownership of tasks.

  • The ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Teams, with experience of Copilot also beneficial.

  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with a genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of service.

What's on Offer?

  • Competitive salary of £33,000-£34,000.

  • Hybrid working, with three days in the office and two days working from home.

  • 26 days' annual leave, plus a flexible holiday scheme.

  • Pension and life assurance.

  • Access to a subsidised on-site canteen and corporate gym membership.

  • Ongoing professional development, technical training and opportunities to develop your career.

  • The opportunity to join a collaborative, inclusive and internationally connected working environment.
