My client is looking for an experienced Legal Sectary to join their team in Worthing.
About the Role
As a Legal Secretary, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Fee Earners and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Property Department. You'll provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support while delivering an excellent experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Fee Earners.
• Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
• Managing diaries, appointments, and client communications.
• Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties.
• Opening and maintaining client files using our paperless case management system.
• Assisting with file management to ensure compliance with Lexcel standards and internal procedures.
• Supporting the team with general administrative duties as required.
About You
• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant within a Residential Property or Conveyancing department.
• Experience working within a solicitors' practice.
• Excellent administrative, typing, and IT skills.
• Confidence using case management systems in a paperless environment.
• Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
