Level 3 Early Years Practitioner - Immediate Start | Stafford (Centre)

We are seeking an exceptional Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to our agency, supporting local private nursery's and primary schools in the areas of Stafford, Rugeley and Penkridge. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to providing the best care and education to each and every child that you work alongside. We require Level 3 Early Years Practitioner's who have experience working within a childcare environment, confident and ready to hit the ground running from day one.

You will be stepping into busy environments where your expertise and knowledge will be valued. The schools and nurseries offer vast amounts of support. This role is a temporary role working through a supply agency (flexibility to suit your commitments and lifestyle).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding care and early years education in line with the EYFS framework and standards.
• Confidently manage routines, activities and transitions throughout the day.
• Build strong, supportive and professional relationships with children, staff and importantly parents too.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment at all times.
• Demonstrate self-initiative when working within education settings.

What we're looking for:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
• A strong level of literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or Grade C and above/Functional Skills Level 2 in the minimum required).
• Previous experience working with young children whether this is in a nursery or primary school setting. This experience will stand you in good stead to jump straight into busy environments.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework is necessary.
• Paediatric First Aid (or be willing to work towards).

Pay £14.24 - £15 an hour, holiday pay is included in the day rate. The hourly rate may be negotiated dependent on the right candidate and their level of experience.
