A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and well-established family-owned nursery group based at Sunderland.
This is a brilliant opportunity to become part of a positive, supportive team where children are at the heart of everything they do. The nursery is looking to strengthen its team with enthusiastic practitioners who are committed to delivering outstanding early years education and care.
This role is offered on a permanent or temp-to-permanent basis, providing an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a growing nursery.
Working Pattern:
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Nursery opening hours: 7:30am – 6:00pm
- Shift pattern discussed at interview
- Start Date: August
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you'll play an important role in supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based experiences. You'll work within a designated room, caring for your own key children while helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to children's early years education every day.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Delivering engaging activities that support the EYFS Framework
- Acting as a Key Person for a group of children
- Supporting children's learning through play, both indoors and outdoors
- Monitoring children's development through observations and assessments
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and carers
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care
- Creating stimulating learning environments
- Supporting children's daily routines and wellbeing
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and hygiene
- Contributing positively to the nursery's friendly team culture
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Commitment to providing outstanding care and education
Salary
- From £12.71-£13.00 per hour
- Higher rates may be available depending on experience
