Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for a caring, reliable and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a nursery in RG7, Reading..

The successful candidate must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification that is suitable for EYFS ratios.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting children aged 0–5 in line with the EYFS
• Planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities
• Carrying out observations and supporting children’s next steps
• Working as a key person
• Supporting children’s personal care and daily routines
• Maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies
• Building positive relationships with parents and colleagues

Requirements:

• Recognised Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
• Previous nursery or Early Years experience
• Good knowledge of the EYFS
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable
