Early Years Practitioner (EYFS) | Full-Time | Camden Primary School

A fantastic mainstream Primary School in the Borough of Camden is looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner (EYFS) to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term basis.

The successful candidate will work across Nursery and Reception, supporting children aged 2-4 and helping them develop through a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment.



What will you be doing as an Early Years Practitioner?

  • Working across Nursery and Reception, supporting children aged 2-4.

  • Supporting children with phonics, early reading, writing and communication activities.

  • Providing support to children with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Following and delivering the EYFS curriculum to a high standard.

  • Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development.

  • Working closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team to provide consistent support.

  • Encouraging learning through play and child-led activities.



The school are looking for an Early Years Practitioner with:

  • CACHE Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years, Childcare or a related subject.

  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.

  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting is essential.

  • A bubbly, energetic and nurturing personality.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a large and collaborative team.

  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Early Years Practitioner (EYFS)

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday

  • Working across Nursery & Reception (2-4 years old)

  • Supporting phonics, early reading, writing and communication

  • Long-term contract

  • Term Time Only

  • £95-£110 per day, depending on experience and hours worked

  • Located in the Borough of Camden
