Level 3 Nursery Nurse

Location: Maidstone, Kent
Pay: £14.30 – £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Are you a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator looking for an exciting new opportunity in Maidstone?

We are working with a welcoming and dedicated pre-school setting that is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Educator to join their committed team.

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development, alongside a sound knowledge of the EYFS and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

About the Role

As an Early Years Educator, you will play an important role in providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality care and education for pre-school children.
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities based on children's interests and developmental needs.
• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Observing, assessing and recording children's progress.
• Building positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and cohesive staff team.
• Promoting children's independence, confidence and wellbeing.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment.
• Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold an approved Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Have at least two years' experience working in an early years setting.
• Have a strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Be enthusiastic, confident and passionate about working with young children.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be reliable, professional and committed to providing high standards of care.
• Hold a valid DBS Certificate or be registered with the DBS Update Service.
• Have the right to work in the UK.

Level 2 candidates may also be considered where they have strong and relevant EYFS experience within a pre-school setting.
