Job Summary

Are you an experienced LGV 1 (C+E) Driver looking for a secure, ongoing night shift role with excellent rates of pay? Blue Arrow is recruiting an LGV 1 Night Shunter for a leading client in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy transport operation offering regular Monday to Friday work, weekly pay, and overtime paid at an enhanced rate. If you have at least 6 months' LGV driving experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced transport environment, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As an LGV 1 Night Shunter, you will be responsible for moving trailers safely around the yard and ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly to support the transport operation.

Pay Rates

• £19.08 per hour
• £27.26 per hour for all hours worked over 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Midnight (00:00) start
• Finish at 09:00

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Valid LGV 1 (Category C+E) license
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months LGV driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Shunting experience would be advantageous
