LGV Driver in Dingwall, Highland

Kiota Recruitment is working with an established Engineering business that Designs and delivers complex Pumping solutions across the Water, Environmental and Infrastructure sectors.

We are seeking an LGV Driver to join their Inverness branch, supporting customer sites, branch movements, and equipment deliveries across the Scottish region.

This is a hands-on driving role suited to someone with a Class 2 licence and HIAB experience who is happy to load, unload, support site activity, and work as part of a busy operational team.

Responsibilities:

• Drive LGV vehicles between the Inverness branch, customer sites, and other regional branches
• Deliver and collect pumps, pipework, hoses, and associated equipment
• Operate HIAB equipment safely when loading, unloading, and positioning equipment
• Assist with safe loading and unloading rather than only driving the vehicle
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and vehicle weight is managed safely
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Follow tachograph, drivers’ hours, Working Time Directive, and transport compliance rules
• Maintain accurate paperwork for deliveries, collections, mileage, and vehicle records
• Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and ready for use
• Take part in the callout rota when required

Skills & Experience:

• Full LGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 points
• HIAB / ALLMI or lorry loader crane qualification
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Driver Qualification Card or Periodic CPC certification
• Experience driving in a similar operational, construction, plant, hire, or builders merchant environment
• Comfortable loading, unloading, and securing equipment safely
• Good practical skills and physically fit for hands-on work
• Hard working, independent, and able to manage changing priorities
• Strong communication skills with customers, hire desk, and branch teams
