Park Avenue Recruitment are working with a West London Local Authority to recruit an experienced HMO Licensing Officer for an initial 6-month contract.

As an HMO Licensing Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering the council's HMO Licensing service, ensuring licence applications are processed efficiently and in line with current legislation.

• Process HMO Licensing applications, renewals and variations
• Validate licence applications and supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate licensing records and housing databases
• Respond to enquiries from landlords, managing agents and tenants
• Support Private Sector Housing and Housing Standards teams with licensing administration
• Assist with compliance monitoring and case management

• Previous experience as an HMO Licensing Officer, Licensing Administrator or within a Private Sector Housing team
• Strong knowledge of HMO Licensing legislation and licensing processes
• Experience working within a Local Authority
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience using housing or licensing management systems is desirable

• Initial 6-month contract
• £20-£25 per hour depending on experience
• Hybrid working
