Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience & qualifications)

Marmon Lift Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join a large and established lift engineering company with a nationwide presence, covering a service route throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join a secure, well-established business that offers a manageable service route, strong technical support, and a competitive package.



The Lift Engineer Role

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing across a portfolio of passenger and goods lifts.
  • Complete routine service visits in accordance with maintenance schedules and company procedures.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, completing minor repairs where required.
  • Attend lift breakdowns during working hours and restore equipment to service efficiently and safely.
  • Identify worn or defective components and report additional repair requirements.
  • Work across a varied portfolio of lift equipment from a range of manufacturers.
  • Ensure all servicing and maintenance is completed in accordance with current lift regulations and safety standards.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and provide clear updates to customers and the wider service team.


Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate

  • Currently working as a Lift Service Engineer, Lift Maintenance Engineer or an experienced Lift Engineer with strong service experience.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering.
  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining passenger and goods lifts.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
  • Confident working across a range of manufacturers and lift systems.
  • Able to manage an allocated service route and workload independently.
  • Strong and professional communication skills when working on customer sites.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
