Litigation & Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Legal Executive | Southampton

Full-Time | Hybrid following probation | £70-75K

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Litigation & Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join the highly regarded Dispute Resolution team at a well-established and respected law firm in Southampton.

To be considered you will be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with previous experience in Civil Litigation.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious legal professional looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment. You'll handle a broad range of high-quality civil litigation matters while working alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to delivering exceptional client service and achieving the best possible outcomes.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice to a diverse client base. Working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, you'll take ownership of files while ensuring clients receive a consistently high standard of service throughout the litigation process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters

• Advising clients on legal strategy and delivering practical, commercially focused solutions

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service

• Managing matters efficiently from instruction through to resolution

• Working collaboratively with colleagues on more complex disputes where required

• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Dispute Resolution team

• Supporting business development initiatives and helping to strengthen the firm's reputation within the local market

About You

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with previous experience in Civil Litigation.

You'll also demonstrate:

• Strong technical knowledge across a range of civil litigation matters

• The ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision

• Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail

• Strong communication and client relationship management skills

• A proactive, commercially minded approach to problem-solving

• The ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively prioritise competing deadlines

• A collaborative approach and genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client care
