Night Shift Loader

Location: Eastwood, Todmorden

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00pm - finish (typically 2-3am)
  • Friday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Overtime available

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

PROMAN is recruiting a Night Shift Loader on behalf of a well-established commercial egg supplier based in Todmorden. The company supplies cafés, shops, and other businesses across Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, and the surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Van loading for next-day deliveries according to specific delivery route schedules and driver manifests
  • Yard shunting in a safe manner
  • Handling goods on pallets and boxes whilst taking care of the product to minimise breakages
  • Following correct loading procedure to prevent movement and damage during transit
  • Cross-referecing delivery notes and labels to ensure correct quantities and sizes are loaded

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to accurately read loading sheets, dates, and batch codes
  • Clean UK driving license needed
  • Ability to handle delicate products whilst maintaining needed speed to perform the role
  • Physically fit
