Quarry Operative / Loading Shovel Operator – Bournemouth & Poole Area

• Competitive salary: £34,000 per year (approx. £654 per week)
• Set working hours: Monday to Friday 7am–5pm, plus alternate Saturdays 7am–12pm (as required)

Your role and responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain quarry and processing plant equipment
• Use mobile plant, including loading shovels, to feed the processing plant
• Complete planned maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Accurately operate the weighbridge
• Uphold and promote company Health & Safety standards
• Work flexibly and collaboratively within the team

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in quarry extraction or related industries
• Mobile plant qualifications (loading shovel and LGV experience preferred)
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Motivated team player with excellent communication skills
