Location: Hybrid Working (Office Based & Weekend Remote)
Salary: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00/5:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced logistics company. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career within the logistics industry. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with strong administrative skills and the ability to learn quickly.

The role will involve monitoring live operational communications, updating transport information in real time, and supporting the day-to-day administration of a busy logistics team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage live chat communications, responding and escalating where required.
• Update spreadsheets and operational systems accurately in real time.
• Record and maintain transport and delivery information.
• Provide general administrative support to the logistics team.
• Ensure all data is updated accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with drivers, planners, and internal departments as required.
• Support the smooth running of daily transport operations.

Requirements

• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
• Previous administration or logistics experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Pattern

• Hybrid working arrangement combining office-based and remote working.
• Approximately 75% weekend working required.
• 3 out of every 4 weekends will be worked remotely from home.
• Flexibility is essential to support operational business requirements.
