Logistics Manager

My client are in an enviable position to facilitate the construction of one of the largest high-tech construction contracts in the UK.

Reporting into the Logistics Director on a 3 1/2 year scheme, you'll be required to do the following:

• Oversee the supply chain, site access, material flows, plant allocation (cranes, hoists), traffic management, and waste strategies to ensure safe, lean, and uninterrupted site operations
• Plan and enforce vehicle movement routes, delivery slots, offloading zones, hoarding inspections, and perimeter security
• Manage traffic management and logistic plans and close liaison with local stakeholders to ensure the necessary consents were are in place
• Responsible for ensuring the allocation of all deliveries to the project and that hauliers and trades supply chains adhered to the Traffic Management and Logistic Plan
• Conforming to logistics strategy for the project, detailing staffing requirements with traffic marshals, fire marshals, labourers, hoist drivers, security and carpenters provided by sub-contract logistic companies

Depending on the calibre of the candidate, up to £75k plus package and all subsistence paid for.
