Logistics Operative

Role – Logistics operator role

Location – Close to Thetford, Norfolk

Working hours – Monday to Friday – Late shift

Capacity of role – Temporary to permanent position

Rate of pay - £16.57 per hour

Our client is currently recruiting for a warehouse operator to join their busy team. Candidates will need to be experienced in a similar position previously

Main duties will include –

• Verifying incoming goods against invoices, check for damages, and sign shipment receipts to confirm delivery accuracy 
• Maintaining accurate records of stock, perform regular audits, and ensure items are stored in the correct locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations

Candidate attributes –

• Previous warehouse experience in a similar position
• Ability to operate a counterbalance forklift
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Own transport due to the location
