Logistics Supervisor / Deputy Manager | Manufacturing - Upto £44,000 per annum

Days (Week 1 Mon-Fri 07.30 -4.15, Week 2 Mon- Thurs 07.30-16.15)

Are you a people-focused logistics leader who enjoys building strong, capable teams in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment?

We're looking for a Logistics Supervisor to lead our logistics and dispatch team — someone who sees coaching and continuous improvement as central to how they lead, and who takes real pride in growing a team that keeps mission-critical aerospace production flowing smoothly.

What You'll Do

Leading and developing your team

• Lead, coach and motivate a team of approx 15 logistics and dispatch operators, building a culture of ownership, capability and pride in the work
• Develop team capability through hands-on coaching and cross-training, helping people build skills beyond their current role
• Get to know your team's strengths and development needs, using this to guide growth conversations and identify future potential
• Create an engaging, structured working environment where people feel supported, listened to and motivated

Driving continuous improvement through people

• Champion health & safety, quality and 5S as shared team standards that your team helps shape and own
• Build a continuous improvement mindset within the team, encouraging people to spot inefficiencies and suggest better ways of working
• Coordinate inbound, outbound and internal material flows, empowering your team to take ownership of their area
• Ensure inventory accuracy and correct ERP transactions through consistent coaching and clear standards
• Support production with efficient line feeding and stock availability

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading a logistics or warehouse team
• A genuine passion for coaching, developing people and driving continuous improvement
• Good working knowledge of warehouse operations and ERP/MRP systems (SAP or similar)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with confidence having honest, constructive conversations
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain one)
