Loss Adjuster

Are you an experienced Commercial Loss Adjuster looking to join a growing and highly respected organisation?

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Commercial Loss Adjuster to manage a varied portfolio of commercial claims. This is a home-based opportunity offering autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to work on a diverse range of claims from initial instruction through to successful settlement.

The Role

Reporting to a senior management team, you will be responsible for handling commercial property and liability claims, ensuring they are investigated, managed and concluded efficiently while delivering exceptional service to all stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of commercial claims from instruction through to settlement.
• Conducting investigations and damage assessments.
• Negotiating and agreeing claim settlements with all parties.
• Producing detailed technical reports within agreed service levels.
• Liaising with policyholders, insurers, brokers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with regulatory, technical and operational standards.
• Maintaining accurate claim records and documentation.
• Supporting business development initiatives and identifying opportunities to strengthen market relationships.
• Managing ad-hoc projects and providing technical input when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience handling commercial loss adjusting claims.
• Progress towards or attainment of a relevant professional qualification (ACILA or equivalent desirable).
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial property and related claims.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work independently while managing a busy caseload.
• Strong report-writing and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to relationship building and business development.
