Lubrication Technician

This role is crucial in supporting our customers in the Liverpool area to enhance the reliability of their machinery, prevent losses and unplanned downtime, and reduce costs. Day-to-day of the role:

• Carry out periodic lubrication of customer assets, ensuring the use of correct lubricants and proper storage.
• Support Reliability Engineers by implementing and improving the services offered.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify leaks or potential reliability enhancements.
• Perform lubrication routes, possibly using ultrasonic measuring devices, and suggest improvements to the PdM Engineer.
• Manage oil changes, check filter systems, and propose enhancements.
• Execute all known lubrication tasks, including taking samples for analysis, adhering to Best Practices.
• Participate in an extensive internal training program, including on-the-job training, classroom sessions, and ISO certified training to ensure excellence in all practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical training and/or work experience in the electromechanical field.
• Ability to work independently with significant personal responsibility.
• Flexibility to work within a dynamic team of technicians.
• Basic knowledge in the electrical field and broader knowledge in the mechanical field.
• Machinery Lubrication Technician Level 1 or 2 is advantageous
• Experience with lubrication of industrial installations is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel as required across the UK to support our customers.
