Salary: £14.24 – £15.00 per hour
Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Pay is determined in line with school expectations and the Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
Hours of work: 11.45am – 1.15pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) — a consistent, five-days-a-week lunchtime role.

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Greenwich for a caring, reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during the lunchtime period, five days a week, term time only.
This is a lovely role for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their school day, without needing a background in teaching. Full training and induction will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising pupils in the dining hall and on the playground during lunchtime
• Encouraging positive behaviour, good manners and healthy eating habits
• Organising and supporting structured games and activities
• Responding calmly and appropriately to minor accidents, incidents or behavioural issues
• Reporting any safeguarding or welfare concerns to the designated safeguarding lead
• Working alongside teaching staff and other supervisors as part of a wider pastoral team
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role and the stated rate of pay, applicants must have:
• Experience working or volunteering with children is desirable but not essential
• A calm, patient and approachable manner
• Confidence managing groups of children in a busy environment
• The right to work in the UK
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one)
