Hours: Term time - 8:30 - 3:30 - school day
A good lunchtime gives children space to relax, play and return to class ready to learn. Transparency Education is recruiting three Lunchtime Supervisors for school opportunities in Lambeth.
You will help keep dining and play areas safe, encourage positive behaviour and make sure children know where to turn for help. This is a part-time role during the middle of the school day, with exact session times agreed before placement.
Responsibilities
• Supervise children in dining areas, playgrounds and designated indoor spaces
• Encourage good manners, safe play and respectful behaviour
• Help younger pupils with practical lunchtime routines
• Respond calmly to minor disagreements and seek support when needed
• Report accidents, concerns and safeguarding information promptly
• Support tidy, safe shared spaces and follow school procedures
Requirements
• A dependable, approachable manner and enjoyment of working with children
• Confidence supervising groups and giving clear instructions
• The ability to work reliably during agreed lunchtime sessions
• Experience in childcare, schools or youth settings is useful but not essential
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one.
