Lunchtime Supervisor in Croydon

Location: Croydon, London, England

Pay: £14.24–£15 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Start date: 23 November 2026; immediate start available

Contract: Part-time, temporary, long-term.

Hours: Monday to Friday during term time, Exact hours agreed before placement.

Transparency Education is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor for a school opportunity in Croydon. You will support children during meals and play, helping maintain safe routines and a friendly atmosphere throughout the lunch period.

We are looking for someone attentive and approachable who can spot when a child needs reassurance or help joining in. This part-time role requires reliable availability during the agreed lunchtime shift.

• Provide active supervision in dining areas and designated play spaces.
  
• Encourage respectful behaviour, safe games and inclusive participation.
  
• Follow allergy, incident-reporting and safeguarding procedures and hand over concerns.
  

To be eligible for this role and the stated pay, applicants must have:

• Experience caring for or supervising children in a relevant setting.
  
• Confidence giving clear instructions and resolving minor disagreements calmly.
  
• Reliable lunchtime availability; first-aid training is desirable.
  
• Appropriate qualifications and training for the responsibilities of the post.
  

Pay within the advertised hourly range reflects relevant experience and training. Pay follows school expectations and AWR, where applicable.
