Following several recent project wins in West London, a leading M&E contractor is looking to appoint an LVAP / Testing Manager to oversee electrical testing and technical compliance across two projects in Central London and one in Basingstoke.

The business is experiencing significant growth, with a strong pipeline across the commercial, fit-out, residential and education sectors. This is an opportunity to take on a key technical role, reporting directly to the Projects Director.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing electrical inspection and testing activities across multiple sites.

  • Overseeing LV authorisation, safe isolation and energisation procedures within your appointed remit.

  • Reviewing test certification, technical documentation and handover records.

  • Ensuring installations comply with BS 7671, project specifications and relevant safety requirements.

  • Providing technical guidance to project managers, site teams and specialist subcontractors.

  • Identifying non-compliances and overseeing corrective action through to completion.

  • Reporting progress, technical risks and compliance matters to the Projects Director.

About You:

  • Experience as an LVAP, Electrical Testing Manager or in a similar electrical compliance role.

  • A strong background in electrical building services, ideally with an M&E contractor.

  • Relevant electrical qualifications and inspection and testing certification.

  • A thorough understanding of electrical testing, safe isolation and energisation procedures.

  • Experience coordinating testing and compliance across multiple projects.

  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior management and site teams.

  • Willingness to travel between Central London and Basingstoke.

What’s on Offer:

  • Substantial salary and benefits package, or a competitive day rate, depending on experience and engagement basis.

  • A key technical position with direct access to the Projects Director.

  • A strong pipeline of secured work across a diverse range of sectors.

  • The opportunity to join a leading M&E contractor during a sustained period of growth.
