M&E Commissioning Manager

Optima Site Solutions Ltd are currently looking for an experienced M&E Commissioning Manager to join a project in London on an initial 4–5 month contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring all systems are tested, commissioned and operating in accordance with the project requirements, specifications and programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Manager with a strong M&E background to join a major London project

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the full M&E commissioning process from pre-commissioning through to final handover.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with the main contractor, M&E subcontractors, specialist contractors and project team.
• Develop and manage commissioning programmes, schedules and procedures.
• Review commissioning documentation, method statements, test plans and certificates.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an M&E Commissioning Manager or similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical building services background.
• Previous experience working on large-scale construction or commercial projects.
• Good understanding of commissioning processes and procedures.
• Experience managing M&E subcontractors and specialist commissioning contractors.
• Ability to read and understand M&E drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
