The Role - MEP Lead

As MEP Lead, you will take full responsibility for the coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical services on a major data centre project in Belgium . You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring all MEP elements are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

This is a senior site-based position where your leadership will directly impact project performance, from early coordination through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Health and Safety across all MEP activities on site
• Manage programme delivery, ensuring all MEP works are aligned with project timelines
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical teams, subcontractors and site engineers
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions to ensure accuracy and build ability
• Drive quality control across installations, inspections and commissioning stages
• Monitor and report on progress, risks and performance to senior management
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
• Identify and implement design and construction improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

About You

• Strong background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Building Services
• Proven experience in an MEP Lead or Senior MEP role on large-scale construction or data centre projects
• Excellent understanding of MEP systems, installation processes and commissioning
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams on site
• Commercial awareness with experience managing programme, costs and resources
• Detail-focused with a strong commitment to quality and delivery deadlines
• Effective communicator with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
