M&E Project Manager – Data Centre Project – East London

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the electrical package on a data centre project in East London, working alongside a well-established M&E Contractor.

This is a site-based role (in site office) managing electrical installations through to commissioning and handover on a fast-paced, technically demanding project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the electrical package from pre-construction through to completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and programme requirements
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Attend and lead site meetings with the client, consultants, and subcontractors
• Manage RAMS, technical submittals, RFIs, and progress reporting
• Liaise closely with mechanical teams to ensure smooth coordination across all services
• Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Support commissioning activities and final project handover

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Previous data centre experience would be highly advantageous
• Strong electrical background with good understanding of mechanical services
• Experience working for M&E Contractors
• Ability to manage programme deadlines and coordinate multiple trades on site
