FBR Recruitment are currently working with a leading contractor who are looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with a strong M&E background to join a major data centre project in West London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an M&E Quantity Surveyor looking for a long-term contract, with a minimum of 12 months work available and the potential for an immediate start.

The Role

As an Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial management of the M&E package on a major data centre project. You will work closely with the wider commercial and project teams to ensure costs, variations, procurement and financial reporting are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial management of M&E packages throughout the project lifecycle

• Preparing and managing valuations, variations and payment applications

• Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management

• Reviewing and managing subcontractor accounts

• Cost reporting and forecasting

• Supporting change and variation management

• Monitoring project costs against budgets

• Assisting with final accounts

• Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and the wider M&E team

• Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting

Requirements

To be considered, you MUST have:

• Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the M&E sector

• A degree in Quantity Surveying

• Experience working on major M&E projects

• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A British passport

• The ability to work on-site in West London

• Availability to start immediately, or at very short notice

Package

• £265–£275 per day
