We are looking for an M&E Site Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Our client is a specialist UK construction and maintenance contractor, delivering high-quality refurbishment and installation projects.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an M&E Site Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
The M&E Site Manager will be responsible for:
- Manage day-to-day site operations across mechanical and electrical installation, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
- Supervise and coordinate site teams, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site-specific risk assessments.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues and delays promptly.
- Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.
- Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure works are completed to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, labour records, material deliveries, and progress updates.
To be successful for this M&E Site Manager role you must have:
- Minimum 2–3 years' proven experience as a Site Manager
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Hands-on and flexible approach to working on-site.
