Job Title: Machine Operative

Location: Pershore

Pay: £13.25-£14.75 per hour

Hours: 07:45am-17:00pm Mon-Thurs, 07:45am-13:00pm Friday

HR Employment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative in the Pershore area. Temp to Perm role with immediate starts available, following successful interview.

As a Machine Operative, you’ll set and operate a Brake Press to produce parts to exact technical specifications. You’ll verify machine settings, maintain safety standards, and keep your work area organized — all while contributing to projects that genuinely matter.

Responsibilities:

•             Set and operate a Brake Press (Amada) to produce parts to technical drawings and instructions

•             Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm tolerances and machine functions

•             Maintain cleanliness of the machine

•             Complete all required safety procedures prior to and during operations

•             Organize work area before and after parts are processed

Essential Skills & Experience:

•             Minimum 1 year experience setting and operating Brake Press

•             Minimum 1 year experience forming various sizes & thicknesses of blanks

•             Minimum 2 years’ experience setting and operating a Laser machine

•             Understanding of mechanical production techniques

•             Be able to use accurately: tape measure, micrometre, verniers and other go/no-go gauges

•             Proven problem-solving skills

•             Competence to accurately read and interpret drawings and setting data

•             Ability to work as part of a team and learn new skills
