We're currently looking for an experienced Machine Operative – Moulding Line to join our Production team at our Birmingham headquarters.

This is an immediate-start opportunity, and we're particularly keen to hear from candidates who are available to start as soon as possible.

A Day in the Life and the Impact You'll Make

As a Machine Operative, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining our moulding line machinery, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll play an important role in keeping production running smoothly from day one. From monitoring production performance and carrying out quality checks to maintaining accurate production records and identifying improvements, your contribution will directly support the output and quality of our products.

What You'll Do

•  Set up, operate and monitor moulding line machinery to produce chocolate products safely, efficiently and to specification.
•  Carry out routine quality checks, process monitoring and production documentation, ensuring accurate records are maintained throughout each shift.
•  Monitor production performance, reporting downtime, manufacturing issues and quality concerns promptly to the Line Supervisor or Shift Manager.
•  Maintain high standards of food safety, GMP, housekeeping and Health & Safety compliance at all times.
•  Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Shift teams to maximise efficiency, minimise downtime and support continuous improvement.
•  Help maintain a consistent and efficient production operation, contributing to the team's performance from the outset.

About You

We're looking for a reliable, proactive individual who enjoys working in a busy manufacturing environment and is committed to producing quality products.

You'll ideally have:

•  Experience operating machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•  Previous food manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
•  Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
•  Good written and verbal communication skills.
•  Basic maths skills and the ability to complete production documentation accurately.
•  Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow product specifications.
•  The ability to work independently using your own initiative while contributing positively to the wider team.
•  A strong commitment to Health & Safety, quality and food safety standards.
•  Availability to start immediately or at short notice.

Desirable

•  Previous experience operating machinery within a food manufacturing environment.
•  HACCP and/or Food Safety qualifications.
