Machine Operative

We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operative to join our client on a range of civil engineering, infrastructure, and groundworks projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work and potetnial long term opportunities for the right person. 

The Role

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant machinery while supporting the successful delivery of site activities.

Duties Include:

• Operating excavators and other plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Carrying out drainage, earthworks, and general civil engineering activities
• Working alongside site supervisors and groundworks teams
• Conducting daily machine checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining a safe and productive working environment
• Ensuring works are completed to programme and quality standards

Requirements

• Relevant in date tickets 
• Previous experience on civil engineering or groundworks projects
•  Good understanding of health and safety on site
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
