Machine Operative – 6 Month Contract
Location: Bingley
Contract: 6 months
Hours: Monday to Thursady 7pm to 5am
Pay Rate: £17.50
About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Machine Operative to join their team in Bingley on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience within belting, printing, flexible packaging, flooring manufacture, or a similar manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
- Setting and adjusting machinery to meet production requirements
- Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Following production specifications and health & safety procedures
- Identifying and reporting any machine faults or quality issues
- Carrying out basic checks and adjustments as required
- Working as part of a busy production team to achieve daily targets
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in belting, printing, flexible packaging, flooring manufacture, or a related industry
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
- A reliable and positive approach to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence – essential
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
