£12.71 per hour (Pay review following successful probation)

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting for a Machine Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Huthwaite.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work and is looking for a stable Monday to Friday position with full training provided.

As a Machine Operative, you'll be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating production machinery
• Learning machine settings and basic programming
• Measuring products accurately using a tape measure
• Recording production measurements and quality checks
• Monitoring production throughout each run
• Maintaining high quality standards
• Keeping your work area clean and organised
• Following all health and safety procedures

We're keen to speak with people who have:

• Previous manufacturing, production or machine operating experience
• Experience working to measurements using a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• A reliable work history and good attendance record
• A practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical aptitude
• An FLT licence (beneficial but not essential)

• Monday to Friday working hours
• No weekends
