Machine Operative / Warehouse Operative – Day Shift

Clements Young Ltd are recruiting for a Machine Operative / Warehouse Operative to join a busy production and warehouse environment in the South Norfolk area.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident working in a hands-on environment with machinery support and general warehouse duties, with a focus on keeping production and materials flowing efficiently.

Job Overview

You will be working as part of a production and warehouse team, supporting machine operation, material handling, and general warehouse duties. This is a varied role that combines machine minding / machine support work with warehouse operations.

Full training will be provided where needed, but a practical, hands-on approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading machines with materials
• Basic machine minding / monitoring production equipment
• Removing finished products and preparing for dispatch
• Picking, packing, and general warehouse duties
• Goods in / goods out processing
• Stock movement and organisation within the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Reporting any basic machine or production issues

About You

• Previous warehouse or production experience preferred
• Comfortable working around machinery in a hands-on role
• Reliable with good attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good timekeeping (7am starts essential)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

What’s on Offer

• £12.71ph or £14.24ph depending on pay scheme
