Machine Operative

We are currently recruiting Machine Operators to join our client's growing team in Bradford. Previous Rotational Moulding experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate - You will start on Days whilst training then transfer to a permanent night shift

Working Hours

• 48 hours per week over 4 days/nights (Monday to Thursday)
• 12-hour shifts:
  • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Days)
  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Nights)
• Initial training will be completed on day shifts before moving to a permanent night shift.
• Due to the shift pattern, own transport is preferred.
• As well as the hourly rate above you will also receive a weekly shift bonus between £50 to £100 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rotational moulding machines.
• Load raw materials into moulds and begin the moulding process.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality.
• Carry out quality checks and inspect finished products.
• Trim and finish moulded products to required standards.
• Inspect moulds and machinery, reporting any maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and increased productivity.

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Rotational moulding experience is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic understanding of health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
