Machine Operator

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established and growing foundry in Yeovil.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated Machine Operator looking for long-term, full-time employment, with opportunities for training, development and career progression.

• £13.50 per hour.

• Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.

• Full-time, long-term employment.

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload raw materials, stock and finished products.

• Move materials throughout the production and manufacturing areas.

• Support general production and operational activities as required.

• Carry out routine equipment and machine checks, reporting any faults or issues promptly.

• Follow all site health and safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace.

• Assist with quality checks and ensure production targets are met.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial environment.

• Experience operating machinery or production equipment is desirable.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Reliable, hardworking and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Flexible approach with a willingness to support wider production activities.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
