The Multi-Skilled Machine Operator is responsible for press work, machining, mechanical assembly, and machine maintenance activities. The role supports production operations while ensuring equipment is maintained and products are manufactured to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture products in line with specifications.
• Carry out general metalworking and shop floor duties.
• Review production processes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Review and update operation sheets and related documentation.
• Perform routine shop floor maintenance.
• Maintain machines, tools, and equipment in good working order.
• Complete downtime records and maintenance logs as required.
• Follow all current Health & Safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Ensure products meet required quality specifications.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience operating presses, machinery, and carrying out mechanical assembly work.
• Power press and Press brake setup and operation.
• Milling machine operation.
• Lathe operation.
• Surface grinding experience.
• Mechanical assembly competency.
