Machine Operator - EVG Bend Machine

Location: Rotherham
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 weeks initially, with the opportunity for permanent work

Barker Ross are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing company in Rotherham, producing reinforcement products for the concrete construction industry using rebar.

The successful candidate will be operating an EVG Bend Machine, producing reinforcement products to the required specifications and quality standards.

Duties include:

• Operating and monitoring the EVG Bend Machine

• Working with rebar and reinforcement products

• Following drawings and production specifications

• Carrying out quality checks

• Working safely and efficiently to meet production targets

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous machine operating experience

• EVG Bend Machine experience is desirable

• Experience working with rebar or steel would be advantageous

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable and hardworking approach

• Good understanding of health and safety

This role is initially for 3 weeks, with the potential to become a full-time permanent position for the right candidate.
