Machine Operator – Deep Excavation in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Tec-Source are looking for an experienced Machiene Operator with proven experience operating excavators on deep excavation and utility projects for a project in Nottingham

Immediate start

Must have

• Experience working safely around deep trenches, existing services, groundwater and restricted working areas.
• Experience installing and removing trench boxes, drag boxes, sheet-and-frame systems and other excavation support.
• Experience lifting and positioning pipes, fittings, valves, chambers and shoring equipment.
• Knowledge of excavator lifting duties, lift plans, load charts and safe working limits.
• Experience excavating around live water mains and other underground services.
• Ability to follow drawings, profiles, levels, permits, RAMS and instructions from the ganger or banksman.
• Current CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator qualification for the appropriate machine size.
• Excavator lifting-operations endorsement or recognised equivalent.
• Valid EUSR SHEA Water or appropriate CSCS-affiliated site-access qualification.
• EUSR National Water Hygiene registration where working on clean-water sites or networks.
• Training in underground-services awareness, excavation safety and daily plant inspections.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
