We're looking for an experienced Edgebander Operator to join a busy manufacturing business in the Letchworth area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong machine-operating skills to produce high-quality finished products.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll ensure components are accurately edged, finished to a high standard, and ready for assembly.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating and setting up edgebanding machinery
- Adjusting machine settings for different materials and specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD files
- Carrying out quality checks and ensuring precise measurements
- Loading, unloading and handling materials safely
- Performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Supporting assembly and production activities when required
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating edgebanding machinery
- Strong fabrication or woodworking background
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
