Production / Machine Operator (Afternoon Shift)
£31,500 - £34,000 per annum | Monday to Friday | 14:00 - 22:00
Northamptonshire (own transport required due to location)

We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Production / Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business within a highly regulated, precision-driven production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, follows structured processes, and takes pride in producing high-quality output at scale.

This is a permanent position offering stability, structured training, and genuine opportunities for development within a growing operation.

You will be responsible for operating production machinery and supporting the manufacturing process from raw materials through to finished product. The role requires a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and adherence to strict quality standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring production machinery in line with set procedures
• Measuring, weighing, and handling raw materials accurately
• Ensuring production runs are completed efficiently and to specification
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the process
• Completing production records and basic documentation accurately
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Following all health & safety and compliance procedures
• Working both independently and as part of a wider production team

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or machine operation environment
• Comfortable working to structured processes and high attention to detail
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work on your own initiative
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Basic IT skills for record keeping and system input
• A practical mindset with a willingness to learn and develop

• £31,500 - £34,000 per annum
• Stable Monday to Friday afternoon shift (14:00 - 22:00)
