Machine Operator

Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Location: Ashford

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Machine Operative/Picker to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting cardboard materials and soft gaskets using a hydraulic press, as well as carrying out general picking and packing duties.

• Operating a hydraulic press to cut cardboard material and soft gasket products
• Ensuring accuracy and precision in all cutting tasks
• Picking, packing, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Managing stock and maintaining a tidy working area
• Handling lifting tasks (not heavy lifting) as part of daily operations
• Following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Good numeracy skills
• Previous experience in machine operation, warehouse, or manufacturing environments (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

• Permanent, full‑time position
• Monday–Friday daytime hours
