Join a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Team! We’re recruiting Machine Operators/ Technicians to join our client’s growing operation in Port Sunlight, Wirral (CH46). If you have a strong mechanical background and enjoy working in a dynamic production environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
As a Machine Operator/ Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently:
- Keep moulding machines and ancillary equipment operating at peak performance
- Carry out adjustments, maintenance, and minor repairs within your skill set
- Monitor product quality – checking for visual defects, weight, and conformity
- Minimise downtime and reduce scrap levels
- Maintain raw material supply by managing bin changeovers
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Accurately complete quality and production documentation
- Mechanical engineering background
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or production environments
- Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes (e.g. Blow Moulding, Injection Moulding) is a strong advantage
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern (days & nights)
- 12-hour shifts 6-6
- 4 on / 4 off rotation (Days & Nights)
- Weekly pay
